Samsung are launching three new handsets, the Galaxy GT-S7508, GT-S6108 and the GT-S6358, to join their flagship Galaxy S3. The devices will provide a wide range of choices for Galaxy fans this year.

3 new Samsung Galaxy phones announced

The handsets are run on the Marvell PXA920 family of processors which are an advanced and highly integrated 3G platform which has support for TD-SCDMA and EDGE/GSM. This was specifically designed for handsets that are multimedia centered.

Along with this the Marvell based Galaxy GT-i8250 which was recently announced provides the Chinese market with a large selection of choices. In total Marvell’s solutions are used in 7 devices from Samsung and this allows them to bring the 2G, WCDMA and the TD-SCDMA technology into three continents and drives affordable and innovative devices into the market to be enjoyed by millions.

The 3 latest devices from Samsung will come with the Marvell Avastar 88W8787 chipset which is wireless and have Bluetooth support and Wi-Fi 802.11n along with the Marvell RF838 and a 2G/3G dual mode TD-SCDMA radio frequency transceiver. Of course, these are all mid-level Androids and no replacement to the flagship Samsung Galaxy S3.
