The next generation of the Mazda CX-5 appeared at the LA Auto Show and it is going to be a hit with consumers thanks to the new looks. But is it going to arrive in 2017 or do we have to wait until 2018 to see the overhauled model?
Just as with the rest of the vehicles in the line-up of vehicles the Mazda CX-5 is going be a huge step forward for Mazda entering into the premium market. Mazda is taking things slow but they are heading towards rivalling the likes of Porsche and Audi.
But the biggest question on the lips of fans of the brand is whether the Mazda CX-5 is going to arrive in 2017 or 2018. Reports have suggested that we may have to wait until 2018 before seeing the mid-sized crossover, but then it isn’t out of the question for it to arrive earlier in 2017.
The Honda CR-V did exactly this, so it could happen with the Mazda CX-5 too. The 5th generation of the CR-V was said to be coming out in 2018 as a three row model, however it has been announced for 2017 instead. So the same may apply to the CX-5.
