New Ford Shelby GT500 Could Have Tweaked V8 To Promote EcoBoost

Ford has been coming up with some superb vehicles in the past years and now the latest to get everyone excited is the new Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. This vehicle comes above the GT350r and it should be coming our way next year.

One thing certain about the new Ford Mustang Shelby is that the vehicle is going to offer up plenty of power and it should come with a choice of two engines. There is going to be the V8 and also the V6 biturbo EcoBoost engine.

It is possible that Ford might tweak the V8 engine and this would give a boost to the image of the EcoBoost. The Mustang arrived with the V6 engine which was seen on the predecessor; however it came with smaller power figures. This could be so that the 2.3 litre EcoBoost engine would look to be more appealing.

This is just our suspicion of course but will the V8 engine be able to move forward or is it going to get tweaked so that the EcoBoost technology is promoted on the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500.
