The replacement for the iPad Air 2 has been launched by Apple and it comes without a number behind it as Apple have chosen to just call it the iPad.
The new iPad offers up the A9 processor and this has already been seen in the iPhone 6S and the iPhone SE. it comes in at 7.5mm in width and is 6.1mm thick and offers a battery of 32.4kWh. The iPad Air 2 offered up the A8X processor.
The new iPad is still a lot like the Air 2 but the latest incarnation is a lot cheaper than the one that came before it. You can pick-up the entry level version, which is the 32GB for $329, the previous version would have cost you $499. The 128GB version comes with a price tag of $429, the cellular version has a price tag of $459 for the 32GB and the 128GB comes in at $559.
The new Apple iPad is available in Space Gray, Gold and Silver and it was launched on 24 March in the US and has made its way to twenty countries, it will be arriving globally in April or May.
