New details have come about a device that has up to now been nothing more than just a rumour, the Motorola X phone. RootzWiki reports that Motorola France has shared some stellar news about the device.

Avril Tromper, an executive at Motorola in Paris answered a question about more details of the Motorola X along with a launch date. The handset is to be called the Nexus X reports RootzWiki and all carriers will have it. The device will come with a space on top and bottom for them to put their branding.

The Motorola X specs is said to include the Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, a display of 1280 x 720 at 4.8 inches, Android 4.2.2, 8GB or 16GB or storage, no SD card, 2 GB of RAM and a camera of 8 megapixels.

What happened to the Snapdragon 600 or 800 we are not sure, nor is there an explanation for lack of full HD 1920 x 1080p display and lack of Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie.
