Motorola has not mentioned anything about a Moto M successor but new reports are claiming that that is what Motorola will be offering this year.

This started after the device was hinted by a tipster on Twitter. It is believed that the device will be called the Moto M2 and that it will be coming with two spec option. The lower version will come with 4GB RAM and 32GB of storage while the higher range version will sport a 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

There were also talks about Motorola favouring the MediaTek processor for the device and that the device will first arrive in China before making its way to rest of the market.

The device is expected to arrive this fall but it is best to take it with a pinch of salt first until we hear from Motorola.
