When the Motorola Droid Razr HD, MAXX HD and the Razr M were released Motorola said that an update to Jelly Bean was on the cards before the end of the year. It seems that they are going to be keeping to their word as they have sent out invitations for software testing reports Droid-Life.
Motorola DROID RAZR HD & MAXX HD Jelly Bean update feedback test tipped
Invites have been sent out to members of the Feedback Network of Motorola to those who own the Motorola DROID Razr HD. This update is to also cover the Maxx HD, as both of the devices are the same apart from the size of their battery.
Of course there is no absolute guarantee that the update will be to Jelly Bean; however what else could it be? Motorola have been taking updates to devices very seriously and so it wouldn’t come as a big surprise if the update was Android 4.1. Another indication of it being 4.1 is that the Motorola DROID Razr M was updated to this version just a week ago.
If you’re part of the Feedback Network for Motorola, do tell us the size of the update when and if you receive. This will be enough of an indication if it is Jelly Bean or not. As for Android 4.2, we can only dream.
