Motorola are set to compete with Samsung when they launch their Droid Razr HD which is said to be arriving around the same time as the Galaxy Note 2.
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 & Motorola DROID RAZR HD rumors
Leaks have confirmed that the Motorola DROID Razr HD will have a larger screen and it will come with more PPI. It is thought that it will be in competition with the iPhone 5 Retina and the Super AMOLED display of the Galaxy S3.
Videos have shown it to have a large logo of Verizon just below the display and a smaller one of Motorola’s close to the ear piece. It is thought that Motorola will announce the Razr HD on 5th September in New York and it will support LTE networks.
The display is said to be HD LCD and the battery is 2,500mAh, which would be larger than the battery of the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the HTC One X. The device is thought to come with Android 4.0 ICS and will be updated to Jelly Bean. Leaks have said that it will have an 8 megapixel camera on the back and a 1.2 megapixel front camera and 1GB of RAM.
The Galaxy Note 2 from Samsung is thought to come out on 29th August at the IFA event which is held in Germany. The Note 2 should have a 5.5 inch screen and it may run Android 4.0 ICS. Camera wise there should be an 8 megapixel on the back and a 1.9 megapixel on the front. The battery should be removable and it should be larger.
When the Samsung Galaxy Note came out last year it was available only on AT&T during the first two quarters following its release. However the latest version is thought to be launching on all carriers in the US, including Verizon.
