It has been a disappointing week for Motorola DROID RAZR HD rumors. What was once heralded as a Samsung Galaxy S3 and iPhone 5 killer slowly seems to be turning into your ordinary flagship device that’s a small step up from its predecessor.
Motorola DROID RAZR HD: 3 letdowns this week alone
This week alone, we’ve had to report on 3 new speculations of the Motorola DROID RAZR HD that are quite the let down. First up were the long running rumors that the RAZR HD would boast a 13-megapixel camera. Today, PhoneArena reports that this is not likely and instead it will sport an 8-megapixel camera which puts it back in the same league as the Samsung Galaxy S3 and rumored iPhone 5.
Next up was the Motorola DROID RAZR HD MAXX. According to PA, these were fake and there was no successor to the 3,300mAh MAXX in the works. Instead, we would be seeing the 2,530mAh DROID RAZR HD only.
The last let down was its release date. While the device is shaping up to be nothing more than “another Samsung Galaxy S3” instead of a step above, you will have to wait until October before it is released. That’s right, October. While the Samsung Galaxy S3 was out in July already and even the iPhone 5 release date expected to fall in late September, you won’t be able to get your hands on the Motorola DROID RAZR HD for nearly another 2 months.
