News has leaked of a mid-range Droid Razr M device that will not have Jelly Bean pre-installed and the folks over at PopHerald now speculate that the DROID RAZR HD, which is expected to release alongside the RAZR M, will more than likely follow suit and come with ICS in tow first.
Motorola DROID RAZR HD may come with ICS unlike Samsung Galaxy Note 2
Droid fans will be disappointed with the new Motorola Droid Razr M when it is released as it will come with Android 4.0 ICS instead of Jelly Bean. Engadget said today that the Razr M will have the Snapdragon S4 dual core Qualcomm processor and it will have what has been described as being a thinner skin than similar OEM skins such as TouchWiz.
It is also thought that the Motorola Droid Razr HD might not come with Jelly Bean too, which is sure to be a huge disappointment if this proves true given that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was recently rolled out packing JB. Reports say that the handset may come with ICS and it is also thought that the same build may be used on both handsets. If this proves true it could lead the way for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 to win fans over if it comes to the Verizon network.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will come with Jelly Bean and also an updated version of TouchWiz which has the Nature UX and apps which support the new S Pen stylus. Would you skip on the Motorola DROID RAZR HD if it comes with ICS?
