Another day and another set of leaked pictures of the upcoming Motorola DROID RAZR HD. This device of course has garnered a lot of attention from fans as it appears to be the first set of flagship Motorola smartphones from Motorola after Google had acquired the company.
Motorola DROID RAZR HD pictures reveal Galaxy Nexus ICS looks
First off, these pictures are off the US version i.e. the DROID RAZR HD. As can be seen, unlike in the pictures of the leaked international version this one has a full Kevlar back. It is also running Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich.
What we really like though is that it is the first flagship Android smartphone to try and follow Google’s new design language for ICS devices. As we saw with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, the official Google phone, ICS encouraged on-screen navigational keys and introduced an electric-blue UI. However manufacturers have decided to ignore this as was apparent by both the HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S3 (the latter not only sticking with physical buttons but also the Gingerbread green overtones).
The Motorola DROID RAZR HD however uses on-screen keys and its MOTOBLUR UI closely resembles the Holo blue UI of Ice Cream Sandwich, making it appear almost as pure as the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
Not much else is known about this smartphone at the moment but the rear cover reveals it is LTE capable and Verizon bound.
