Moto Z Droid vs Moto Z Force Droid: What’s The Difference?
The Moto Z Droid is a great choice of handset but if you want something that offers up a little bit more power you might want to consider the Moto Z Force Droid, but what are the main differences?
Both the Moto Z Droid and the Moto Z Force Droid are very much alike. The biggest differences between the two of them are the capacity of the battery, the camera and the material they are made from.
Both handsets have the same design; they offer the same bump for the camera and USB Type C charger. They offer a display of 5.5 inches and this is AMOLED, they have 4GB RAM and run on the Snapdragon 820 processor.
The Moto Z Force Droid offers the ShatterShield technology and this is something that Motorola developed on the Droid Turbo 2 and comes with five different layers of protection.
The first layer is a protective layer that has a coat that is hard and it guards against denting. The second layer is the transparent layer that offers a protective shield that is clear and which isn’t going to shatter or break. The third is the dual touch layer and if the first two should be damaged this takes over to keep up the performance of the touchscreen. Layer four is the AMOLED display which takes shocks thanks to it flexibility and offers superb picture quality. Finally there is the layer five which is the rigid aluminium chassis that offers durability and integrity.
The ShatterShield technology is now in the second generation and it has edges that are narrower along with being thinner. It provides superb protection for the Moto Z Force Droid and the Moto Z Droid.
