If you are in the market for a new smartphone you might want to consider the Moto G5 Plus and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 as both are superb choices. But which of the handsets is the most suitable for you?
Lenevo branded Moto launched the Moto G5 along with the Moto G5 Plus this Sunday. The G5 has the Snapdragon 430 SoC and the G5 Plus has the Snapdragon 625 SoC. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 also offers the very same processor.
The Moto G5 Plus and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 share a lot in common but there are also many things that make the two handsets stand apart. They both offer the same full HD displays but they are different sizes. Both phones have support for dual SIM card and both support expansion via SDcard.
They both have 2GB RAM and 32GB storage and there is also 4GB RAM and 64GB storage options available. Both can be expanded up to 128GB. The differences between the two include the main one, which is the Moto G5 Plus running on Android 7.0 Nougat and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 having Android Marshmallow. The G5 Plus offers a display of 5.2 inches and the Redmi has a display of 5.5 inches.
The camera on the Moto G Plus is 12MP and this offers up dual focus, 4k recording, f/1.7 aperture and dual LED flash. The Redmi Note 4 has the 13MP camera, FPAF, HD video, f/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash. Both handsets offer a 5MP camera on the front.
The Redmi Note 4 has a battery of 4100mAh and the Moto G5 Plus comes with the smaller 3000mAh battery. The G5 Plus weighs in at 155 grams and the Redmi Note 4 is heavier at 175 grams.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is offered for RS. 9,999 for the 2GB 32GB version, RS 10, 999 for the 3GB 32GB version and RS 12, 999 for the 4GB 64GB version. The Moto G5 Plus comes in at RS 15, 300 FOR THE 2GB 32GB version, RS 19,700 for the 3GB 32GB version and the price tag of the 4GB 64GB version isn’t known at the moment.
