The Mini hatchback is already small but there were rumours suggesting that Mini might be looking to go smaller but Mini has just put those rumours to rest now.
According to Car Advice, the F56 Mini will be coming with the same body and that there is not going to be a smaller model coming after the F56 Mini. Mini;s global senior vice president Sebastien Mackensen added that he can’t envision a 20cm shorter vehicle.
He also reveals that one of the reasons why the smaller model is not going to happen is because with the vehicle being smaller, the customers will expect it to come with a smaller price tag as well but making the vehicle is not going to cost less than making the standard size model.
If they were to release a smaller model with only a small price difference, it is clear to see why it will never work.
