We already know that Mini is looking to build the first all-electric Mini model and now new reports are suggesting that Mini might show it off at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show.
According to BMW Blog, the electrified Mini will be a three-door hatchback model and that we are just weeks away from the unveiling of the vehicle. Since the Frankfurt Motor Show is happening in a few weeks time, most people believe that that is where Mini will be showing it off.
The new electric Mini will be built in the UK. Other reports also suggested that the production of the vehicle will be starting in 2019 and that the BMW X3 will be following closely after the electric Mini.
Hopefully, more details will be revealed when we get closer to the Frankfurt Motor Show. What do you think of Mini’s plan for an electric version so far? Do you think it is a good idea?
