4J Studios teased fans about new features that are making their way to Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, with an update by the name of Title Update 12 reports TheExaminer. Along with this the developer did confirm a very important feature that would raise the build ceiling in-game.

The TU12 update fetches the Xbox 360 version of the Minecraft game alongside the 1.2.3 release on the PC. The photo that came from 4J Studios showed us additions which included the Iron Golems, ocelots and cats and the Jungle Biome.

4J Studios confirmed that stairs and slabs could be placed upside down if you put them below a block. However the big news is confirmation of the Anvil map, which would allow build height to go from 128 blocks to 256 blocks. At this time there has not been any word on whether or not the overall map size would be increased.

It has been said that some new features coming with the update to TU12 includes the option for villagers in Minecraft for Xbox 360 to have children, along with introducing Zombie sieges in the night when playing in Survival mode.

At the moment there is no word on when the release window for the update is for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition.

Rick Berke

Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, PC, iPhone and Android games keep Berke busy at work all day. Honestly though we’re not sure why we’re paying him as it should be the other way around.
