This seems to be quite an unfair fight to begin with; Samsung’s latest Galaxy TabPro S and Microsoft’s Surface Pro 4 are powered by the latter’s Windows 10 system, and now we’re about to compare between the two to see which fares better than the other, especially when they’re both powered by the same system. What?
Apparently, the Samsung tablet can run on either Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro, but the fact that it’s not utilizing an Android system puzzles many. Getting on to the dimensions, the Galaxy TabPro S is slimmer and lighter than the Surface Pro 4; the former measures 11.5 x 7.8 x 0.24-inches, while the latter measures 11.5 x 7.93 x 0.33-inches. In terms of display, the Galaxy TabPro S features a display with 2,160 x 1,440 resolution, while the Surface Pro 4 has a slightly higher resolution of 2,736 x 1,824.
For their cameras, the Surface Pro 4 beats the Galaxy TabPro S by having an 8MP rear-facing camera, whilst the latter’s a 5MP. The front-facing camera for both are a 5MP as well. And here comes the best bit: the price tag. Since only the Surface Pro 4 has already been released into the market, it’s a little hard to come out with a verdict on which is better than the other. Till then, we’re probably going to go for the Surface Pro 4, just because.
