For those that has supported the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL from the start, the device is already a few years old now and while some people think that it might be time to toss the device aside and start looking for a newer device, Microsoft has just offered their customers a reason to hold on for a little longer.

Microsoft announces that they will be offering the new Windows 10 Mobile Creators Update this month and while we are still waiting for Microsoft to release the list of devices that will be getting the update, most people believe that the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL will definitely be getting the update from Microsoft.

According to ZDNet, the devices that should be getting the upgrade includes the Alcatel IDOL 4S, OneTouch Fierce XL, HP Elite x3, Lenovo Softbank 503LV, MCJ Madosma Q601, Microsoft Lumia 550, Lumia 640/ 640 XL, Lumia 650, Lumia 950/ 950 XL, Trinity NuAns Neo, and VAIO VPB051.

Microsft has made it clear that not all devices will be getting the update but don’t give up yet if your device is not on the list because nothing is set in stone right now. The update will be released on the 25th of April.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 XL will come in with a 5.7inch display screen with 1440 x 2560 resolution. The device will be running on the Snapdragon 810 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The Lumia 950 XL will also be fitted with a 20MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.
