Microsoft Lumia 950 vs Apple iPhone 6S: Will You Be Surprised?

By  |

Yes we know, there are not that many people who would consider making a comparison between the Microsoft Lumia 950 and the iPhone 6S. However that is exactly what we intend to do here, but will you be surprised?

There is a display of Quad HD AMOLED on the Microsoft Lumia 950 and this is 5.3 inches. The display offers a resolution of 2560 x 1440 and 564ppi. It runs on the Snapdragon 808 processor with a main camera of 20MP and a 5MP.

The display of the Apple iPhone 6S is retina and this is 4.6 inches. It runs on the A9 processor and boasts cameras of 12MP and 5MP.

Perhaps one of the biggest differences to the two handsets is that the Apple iPhone 6S offer iOS and the Microsoft Lumia 950 comes with Windows 10.

But would you choose the Apple iPhone 6S or would you go for the Microsoft Lumia 950?

Both have good specifications in terms of hardware, the choice is more on the preference of the ecosystem. Based on market stats, most picked up iPhone but few people including me strongly prefer Windows 10 offering. It is different than both iOS and Android, better UI and some unique features.
It is not as locked up as iOS, nor as open as Android. The new universal applications make the transition and learning seamless between desktop and the OS.

I can never see myself going for Apple products, just don’t like their products as much as others. They seem to be glorified for what they do, including the number of apps and otherwise. Most folks use a dozen odd applications on a regular basis, predominantly email, browsing, FB, Twitter and the like and they are all available on Windows 10 phones.
