Microsoft Lumia 950 Might Not Be As Likeable As You May Have Thought

By  |

Microsoft hasn’t had an easy time of it in trying to come up with a device that can match those of competition such as Apple and Samsung. Now they have the Microsoft Lumia 950 but does the handset the likeability factor?

The display offered up with the Microsoft Lumia 950 is 5.2 inches and it offers up a resolution of 1440 x 2560. The device runs on the Snapdragon 808 processor and it offers up 32GB of storage. The device has support for SD card and it has 3GB of RAM.

While there are a lot of things to like about the Microsoft Lumia 950 there are some downsides at the same time and one of the biggest is the fact that has it runs on Windows 10 it doesn’t offer up the same amount of apps that Samsung and Apple handsets do.

But the big question is would you go for the Microsoft Lumia 950 instead of one of the handsets offered by Samsung or Apple?

I looked at the Lumia 950 but decided to purchase the Lumia 550 a few months ago… just to try out the Microsoft ecosystem. It is true that there are less apps. However, I wasn’t so interested in the apps as I was in just finding out how the Microsoft product functions day to day. However, I did add Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Gmail calendar & email. I learned that a battery charge does not last through an 8 hour day; so I have to be sure and carry an extra charge cord. Additionally, I believe that my problems with the calendar, email, and directory is that this is first a Microsoft product that really wants to function with Microsoft products and therefore it doesn’t really want to function smoothly when running non-Microsoft calendar, email, and directory products. It is a decent phone for the price and works well enough, however, if you have experienced iPhone and/or other Android products, it’s a bit of a challenge to enjoy the experience.
