2018 is certainly not starting out the best for Mercedes as the automaker had to issue four new recalls in the first month of the year.

The first recall which will affect about 8700 units of the Mercedes GLE, GLS and S-Class models will be to fix the latch problem on the left rear passenger doors of these vehicles. Models that are affected by the recall will have to be inspected and get their lock mechanism replaced if needed.

The second recall will affect about 8134 units of the GLC model. Those affected will have to return their cars to get the headlights check and maybe readjusted. The third recall will affect the G550 models as it was reported that the power brakes might not be working properly.

The final recall will be for those AMG GT models that were fitted with the AMG Performance Seats. Those vehicles will need to either have their software updated or have their passenger seat cushion replaced.
