Mercedes Benz C-Class and BMW 3 Series in One Hell of a Tough Fight

By  |

Rivals do not get much bigger than the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes Benz C-Class. The pair have been going head to head in one hell of a tough fight, with the Mercedes being treated to a makeover but the BMW not.

There is the 2 litre engine with 4 cylinders in the Mercedes Benz C-Class and this offers up 241 horses. It gives you about 24mpg in the city and 31mpg if you venture onto the highway. If you opt for the 3 litre engine you can expect about 29mpg on the highway.

The BMW 3 Series has the 2 litre engine and on the highway you may get around 35mpg and 23mpg in the city, with 240 horse power.

So which engine and vehicle would you go for? Would it be the Mercedes Benz C-Class or the BMW 3 Series?

My BM 323i seemed to give me tonnes of endless problems. I decided to buy a MB C class. It is so very good! I find BM buyers are generally people who like flashy cars, but don’t actually understand cars!
