Mazda BT-50 Stepping Down For Isuzu

By  |

Mazda are offering a pickup truck in Australia that is basically just a version of the Ford Ranger with a different badge. This of course reminds people about the relationship between Ford and Mazda, but Mazda may be about to cut away.

Production of the Mazda BT-50 is coming to an end soon and Mazda have said that they are going to be launching a new truck to take its place. They also mentioned that they are going to be working with Isuzu on the next generation pickup.

The Mazda truck is going to have the base of the Isuzu pickup truck, but other than this no more details were given in the press release.

Don’t hold out to see the new truck in competition with trucks in the US though as Mazda are not planning on offering it in the US at any point in the near future.
