Mazda and Kia Get Ready To Take Over 4-Door Coupe Segment

By  |

We have already seen a post on Instagram that Mazda USA posted which gave us a tease of an upcoming 4-door coupe that has the base of the Mazda 6. Now it seems that Mazda may not be the only car maker considering a 4-door coupe.

Spy photos have been seen of a vehicle from Kia going around the Nurburgring track and the vehicle has 4-doors. It is thought that this is a test vehicle that will have the name of the Kia GT Stinger.

If the rumors prove to be true we expect the Kia GT Stinger to come with a V6 turbocharged engine and this might offer up 335 horses. What is exciting about it is that there should soon be more varieties among the sports coupe segment, which has been relatively quiet.

When the Kia GT Stinger and the Mazda 6 coupe does arrive on the market we will then have more choice other than the Volkswagen CC.
