Just before we entered 2018, Maserati announces a new recall to recall some of their models after it was reported that the fuel line could leak gasoline onto the engine bay or the underside of the vehicle.

According to NHTSA, the recall will affect about 1406 units of Maserati models including the 2018 Maserati Quattroporte and Maserati Ghibli. These units were manufactured from the 24th of July until the 14th of December.

A stop-sale was also issued a few weeks ago followed by this recall. Those affected by the recall will get their fuel delivery lines replaced with new ones but since the fix will only be happening after the 9th of February, owners might want to stop driving their vehicles for the time being.

This recall is the fifth and of course the last recall Maserati will have for 2017. Let’s hope 2018 is going to be a better year for them.
