The Samsung range of devices is among the most popular and so it should not be a great surprise to hear that the handsets are going to be given the update to Marshmallow. One of the handsets to be getting the update is the Verizon version of the Samsung Galaxy S5.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow has been confirmed by Samsung for the Samsung Galaxy S5 along with the Note 4 and other handsets.
Samsung said that Android 6.0 Marshmallow will be made available for devices including the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy S5, S6 Edge+, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6, Galaxy Tab S2 and both the A8 and A7 Galaxy Alpha models.
Verizon, Sprint and AT&T will be updating their versions of the Samsung Galaxy S5 along with the Note 4 so owners can look forward to Marshmallow later this year.
