If you’re in the UK or South Korea and you’re the proud owner of your Samsung Galaxy S6 or the LG V10, be even prouder as the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update will be available to the devices as a beta. You’re probably surprised to find out that Samsung is only receiving this late, despite the fact that they usually dominate the Android system.
It’s worth noting that some owners of the LG V10 have actually started getting the update, but for those who are on T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint and AT&T plans, the dates are still not confirmed yet. Though they shouldn’t be worrying too much as the G4 and G Stylo handsets haven’t gotten the update as well.
As for the Samsung Galaxy S6 beta version, it’s currently being tested in the UK and South Korea, so it’s only going to be a matter of time before they arrive to other parts of the world. Both devices are going to have added improvements in terms of battery life, Wi-Fi, reboot, a modified user interface, and also the fact that the power menu is going to be minimalistic.
Is your Galaxy S6 or LG V10 running smoothly with the new update?
