When the LG Nexus 4 was revealed it became the favourite Android handset and there is now talk about a successor making its way out, which could come with Key Lime Pie.
According to IBTimes the LG Nexus may have the base of the LG Optimus G Pro. A source said that Key Lime pie could be revealed around May and that the OS would have many improvements, one being multiple user profiles. The LG Nexus 5 may also have performance modes, which would allow users to choose between better hardware performance or longer battery life. Twitter may also be integrated better.
The LG Optimus G Pro could have a display of 5 inches and this could offer 1080p. It may have a 2GHz processor which is quad core and improvements may have been made to the camera. There could be support for LTE too.
There is no confirmation from LG that they will make a new Nexus handset. However rumours have been going around for some time that Google could work with more than one handset maker this year.
The LG Nexus 4 is a credit to LG as it comes with solid hardware and it has a design that is great. On the downside it lacks LTE and storage space. The LG Optimus G Pro comes with both of these, so let’s hope that the LG Nexus 5 is built on this and that if and when it is released, we can get it in the Google Play Store.
