Now that the LG Nexus 4 is out, users wanting a Nexus handset can now get a great device with the Nexus name along with an affordable price tag and stunning looks. But does the LG Nexus 4 offer enough for Samsung Galaxy Nexus users to consider upgrading?
LG Nexus 4 vs Samsung Galaxy Nexus
The folks over at AndroidAuthority pitted both devices against each other and reached a conclusion (video review below). The blog explained that the LG Nexus 4 does happen to be an advancement of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. The processor inside it is faster and the design has lots of improvements. The camera is one of these improvements and the Nexus can now keep up with competition. The display of the handset is superb and is just a tad larger. The Nexus 4 also comes with the latest Android Jelly Bean OS which will continue to come its way unlike the Galaxy Nexus which soon find its luck run out.
On saying all of this there are some things about the Samsung Galaxy Nexus that put it ahead of the LG Nexus 4. The Nexus 4 battery cannot be removed; this means that you will have to carry a charging cable around on long trips. The Nexus 4 doesn’t have LTE and so the Galaxy Nexus will be faster than the Nexus 4.
All in all the LG Nexus 4 is superb, however the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is still a great device and worth considering if you are in the market for a Nexus device. Check out the comparison below.
