LG Nexus 4: Oct 29 Launch Confirmed By LG Exec, In Stores November

By  |

There have been numerous rumours about a new Nexus device, which is supposed to make an appearance at the Google event on the 29th October. Now these rumours have been proved true as an LG exec said that the LG Nexus 4 will be launched on 29th October and will be available in India towards the end of November.

LG Nexus 4 release date pegged as November

This means that there has been confirmation of the rumoured LG Nexus 4 and the handset will be available, in India at least, just one month after the device’s announcement. This may be an indication that Google are pushing devices out onto the market faster than before, in much the same way that Samsung did when they launched the Samsung Galaxy S3. On the other hand it may also mean that LG are focusing on India and Samsung didn’t.

It is also worth taking into consideration that the remark was made off hand by the LG executive, who was talking at an event that was not related to the LG Nexus 4. Therefore it is possible that this could not be as accurate.

The LG Nexus 4 is expected to come with a Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor, 8MP camera, 2GB RAM and the latest Android Jelly Bean update (possibly Android 4.2). Early reviews were unfavorable but it could be because the device being reviewed was an early prototype.

Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, PC, iPhone and Android games keep Berke busy at work all day. Honestly though we’re not sure why we’re paying him as it should be the other way around.
