LG G2 Owners Get Treated To Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update

By  |

Owners who have the LG G4 and LG G3 have been hanging on to find out if they are getting the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. Many people still own the LG G2 and they too have been wondering if they are going to be treated to the update.

LG has been keeping quiet about whether owners of the LG G2 are going to be given the updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow and they haven’t even said just how far back they will be going with the update.

The Verizon LG G2 was recently seen in benchmark tests and it was running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and from what we can see of the results they were fair. Of course the benchmark test was made with the LG G2 running a custom ROM.

The benchmark on the LG G2 running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow in single core came in about the same and the multi-core version scored 2728. We don’t think that the official update really matters as a stable ROM should be coming our way very soon.
