When the world has seen the LG G4 and G3 having confirmed for an Android 6.0 Marshmallow update, it’s only a matter of time before the G2 receives the same treatment too. It’s just that LG was a tad too indecisive; it wasn’t sure how far back they would like their phones to be updated to the current times. Perhaps this could indicate a little hope for the G2 users?
And though we have already seen the Verizon LG G2 that got benchmarked with Android 6.0 Marshmallow in producing fair results, we’ll just have to wait a little while more before LG opens up with their announcement. Sure, that’s a custom ROM, therefore, we’ll have to see what LG plans to do next, especially with their G2 devices.
However, it’s good to know of the possibility that if LG doesn’t provide Marshmallow to the G2 users, then a stable custom ROM shouldn’t be too far off the grid.
