The Lexus CT Hybrid Hatchback was removed from the US line up last year but the vehicle is still being offered in other markets and Lexus plans to keep it that way for some time.
According to Lexus, the Lexus CT is an important model for Lexus as it helps introduce new customers to the Lexus brand and that it still has a role to play in their line up.
Auto Express also reported that the Lexus CT could be getting a successor in 2020. It is said that the successor will be riding on the TNGA platform and that the vehicle could be getting a hybrid or all-electric powertrain when it arrives.
It is also believed that the CT might be sold as a hatchback along with a new crossover-like version to meet the demand of their customers. It looks like Lexus is working hard to keep the CT alive and with these new plans in place, they might actually do it.
