Jeep was at the Shanghai Auto Show where they showed off the Yuntu concept. The concept will eventually be turned into a production model and when that happens, it won’t be carrying a Yuntu badge.
Instead of Yuntu, it looks like the vehicle is going to be called the Jeep Grand Commander or at least that is what the latest leaked images were suggesting. The image showed the production version of the concept getting tested out in the open and the vehicle was fitted with the Grand Commander nameplate.
The vehicle was still heavily covered so a lot of the details are still a mystery but we do have some details about the vehicle right now. The Jeep Grand Commander will be powered by the same Wrangler engine which is the 2.0-liter turbo engine. Customers will get to choose from two output option, 234hp, and 265hp.
It is believed that the vehicle will arrive with a $38,000 price tag but at this point, we are not sure if Jeep will be releasing it outside of China.
