The Jeep Wrangler has won the title of being the Hottest SUV at SEMA six times in a row starting in 2010 and to be honest it’s getting boring. It’s about time that there was a rival to give it some competition so the truck doesn’t have things all its own way all the time. Maybe it is about time for Ford to launch the 2018 Ford Bronco to give it that competition?
The Jeep Wrangler is well known for being unrivalled in the world of performance SUVs and it badly needs something that can take it on. However there is nothing out right now or coming our way in the near future that would be able to take it on. It isn’t surprising that the vehicle has romped away another year with the title under its belt and so once again it has been the only SUV to take the title since the titles began back in 2010.
The SEMA President and CEO said that Jeep is among the most of the accessory friendly vehicles on the market and this is why is has won the title repeatedly. It offers versatility both on the road day to day and going off the road and this is why it is so popular. However it is getting rather boring, of course it’s going to win if it doesn’t have any competition. But things may change with the arrival of the 2018 Ford Bronco.
Other vehicles that have done just as well as the Jeep Wrangler in their categories are the Dodge Charger, which took the win as Hottest Sedan. But do you think that it’s about time the Wrangler had some rivals?
