Jeep Pickup Could Get Power From RAM 1500
It is thought that Jeep will be showing off a brand new pickup truck later on this year and it has been said that it will have the base of the Jeep Wrangler. The vehicle is expected to come to the roads in 2017.
While the debut date for the truck is coming ever closer there is still a great deal that we don’t know about the truck. For instance we don’t know what the truck is going to be called or what it is going to offer us.
Now some new rumors have come to light that tell us that the Jeep pickup is going to offer up the same engine options that the RAM 1500 offers. The entry level version could have the V6 3 litre EcoDiesel that offers up 240 horses.
A setup such as this would mean that the Jeep pickup truck might be able to offer up around 19mpg when driven in the city and on the highway around 27mpg. It should be able to two up to 4,000lbs or more.
We can also expect to see the Jeep pickup truck to have been refined for going off the road, however at the moment nothing has been confirmed and so you do have to take this all with a dose of salt.
