Jeep Isn’t Finished With The Wrangler For 2017

By  |

It is looking as though Jeep hasn’t finished totally with the Wrangler for this year as while the Rubicon Hard Rock might be dead, the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon is going to be taking its place and making its way to showrooms soon.

The Jeep Rubicon Recon is similar to the Rubicon Hard Rock but it has been beefed up and it is coming with some cosmetic tweaks.

It offers the Dana 44 which comes with tubes that are stronger and heavy duty forgings. The front and the rear differentials are stronger than those of the Hard Rock, while the ratio remains the same at 4. 10:1 front and back rations. It comes with Rock-Trac transfer case and Tru-Lok locking differentials and a half inch lift kit.

The Jeep Rubicon Recon offers up 17 exclusive wheels with 32 inch BF Goodrich KM tires and it has rock rails that are reshaped and this means that 35 inch tires can be fitted. The vehicle also gets red seatbelts along with stitching and special edition dashboard plaque, fender badge and gauge cluster that is unique.

You can pick up the Jeep Rubicon Recon from $40, 140 for the two door version and $43, 940 for the four door. This means that you pay a premium of $6,000 over the base version of the Rubicon Hard Rock.
