There is no doubt that the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is one powerful model but maybe all those power comes with a price as Jeep was asked to recall their Grand Cherokee Trackhawk after it was reported that an issue with the fuel lines might lead to a fire.

According to NHTSA, the fuel lines on the JGC Trackhawk model could detach which might lead to a fire. A total of 1242 units of the vehicle will be recalled to be inspected and repaired if necessary.

The affected models were those made from the 10th of October under the 10th of December. The other Jeep Grand Cherokee will not be affected since their fuel lines are made by a separate production line and do not have the same issue.

Recalls will begin on the 2nd of March. Jeep has also issued a stop –sale order while they get the issues fixed.
