Is The 2018 Jeep Wrangler Able To Catch Up?

By  |

One thing about the Jeep Wrangler is that it is while it is popular, this tends to mean that there isn’t enough vehicles to meet the demand and people have to wait before they can get hold of one.

To avoid this when the 2018 Jeep Wrangler arrives the FCA want to upgrade the plant where the Wrangler is made and this is going to be the aluminum versions. The upgrade means that Jeep is going to be sending out more units of the Wrangler each year.

Jeep have told us that the Jeep Wrangler is going to be produced at the Toledo plant and the FCA hope that they will be able to send out 450,000 vehicles per year. At the moment they send out 240,000 per year. 350,000 of these are going to be the jeep Wrangler and the rest will be for the new truck to come from the company that is going to have the base of the Wrangler.

The FCA said that they are going to be investing $700,000 million so that the plant can be upgraded and this is also going to bring about 700 new jobs.
