iOS 6 users on the iPhone and iPad are waiting patiently for the untethered jailbreak and today there is news that it is even closer and the wait may soon be over.
iPhone & iPad iOS 6 untethered jailbreak update
Phone-Reviews tells us that there is a student in the UK who is working on it and racing against the likes of the Chronic Dev team and pod2g, to release the iOS 6 untethered jailbreak. A team of students known as Team Dr1zzle are working on the untethered jailbreak for the iPhone 5, 4, 4S and 3GS, while another team member works on the iPad version.
The student is new on the scene and claims to be only days away from the jailbreak for iOS 6, using a modded version of Redsn0w. This claim sent shockwaves through the community of jailbreakers and some remain skeptical about the claim.
It seems that the team have posted proof of their efforts in photographs, but still some fail to believe that the jailbreak is on its way. However if the students manage to pull it off, they deserve a huge pat on the back.
Jailbreaking is not recommend as of course there are things that can go wrong and you could end up with a device that won’t work. Team Dr1zzle have said that they will upload further proof by way of video.
