Have you been considering buying the Google Pixel or perhaps you wondered whether to go for the iPhone 7 instead. If you are in this situation you should read on to find out whether there is a clear winner between the two.
The iPhone 7 runs on the A10 Fusion processor and this is a beast of a processor. Recently it was put up against the Google Pixel in two speed tests to find out which handset came out on top.
The first of the tests was for speed of the processor and the results showed the ability of the devices to load and then recall apps. The Google Pixel revealed that it was a bit slower loading games than the iPhone 7. However the Pixel did manage to keep up with the iPhone 7 reasonably well. The camera opens up just a touch quicker, which is good news as you don’t want to miss out capturing that perfect shot due to lag.
The second test was made of the fingerprint scanner and here there was a clear winner as the Google Pixel came out ahead with flying colors. Even the animations on the iPhone 7 were disabled in case it slowed down the phone, but it didn’t make any difference.
Of course the Google Pixel does still have some way to go before it catches up with the iPhone 7 for performance and software optimization, however on saying this it is a handset worth buying.
