The Samsung Galaxy S3, the Nokia Lumia 920 and the iPhone 5 are the scions of their platforms, so if you pitted these leaders against each other, who would be the daddy?
Samsung Galaxy S3 vs iPhone 5 vs Nokia Lumia 920: Apple wins (CNET)
CNET hosted the scrap and decided that the iPhone 5 took the title. But how? The tech blog reckons that the iPhone 5 will prove to be reliable both in software and hardware. It looks great and also has LTE. The camera, which was already pretty good, has been improved, and iOS 6 is proving to be popular.
The Nokia Lumia 920 has two features that the iPhone 5 lacks – NFC and wireless charging. It’s got an amazing display, but its Nokia Maps app and its operating system let it down points out CNET. The tech is younger, though, so we can expect it to catch up. The camera was a bit of a disappointment but Nokia has said that it’s made improvements with PureView.
With respect to the Samsung Galaxy S3, CNET says that it lost out in some ways because, despite its staggeringly good specs it also has far more trip-ups, which make for a less smooth experience overall. CNET also said that a lot of its features were fiddly and not universal. You can check out their full comparison to find out how they reached their verdict here. Have a good weekend folks!
