The iPhone 5 and the LG Nexus 4 are without a doubt the most popular new smartphones to launch this quarter. The most obvious differences between both smartphones can be boiled down to 3 things – price, OS and connectivity.
iPhone 5 vs LG Nexus 4 comparison finds Nexus squeeze ahead despite lack of LTE
While the iPhone 5 is Apple’s flagship smartphone and priced as such, the LG Nexus 4 costs just a fraction at $299 contract-free from the Google Play Store. However don’t mistaken this Android smartphone as an entry-level device just based on its price tag.
The LG Nexus 4 packs some serious hardware and the folks over at PCWorld Australia have shown us as such. The tech blog compared the iPhone 5 against the LG Nexus 4 and the final verdict showed the Nexus 4 score higher, albeit slightly. As you can see from the chart below, the LG Nexus 4 has 6 wins while the iPhone 5 came in with 5.
Of course, given that the score is so close, the final decision will come down to 2 other things – OS and connectivity. Do you prefer Android or iOS? And do you need an LTE phone? Check out the chart below.
