It seems that Samsung could have the last laugh if the latest rumours prove to be true and a Chinese manufacturer who has designed and launched a device based on rumours of what the iPhone 5 will look like, are able to sue Apple and stop them releasing their latest iPhone 5.
According to Electronista, a Chinese firm have made an Android handset that looks just like the leaked photos of what is said to be the iPhone 5. The company say that if Apple releases their iPhone 5 in China and it looks the same as their device they will sue as they have a patent. In theory, while not likely, this could mean that Apple would not be able to sell their new iPhone 5 in China.
The Chinese iPhone 5, dubbed i5, comes with a 1GHz processor and 512MB of RAM and has a 5 megapixel camera on the front and a 1.3 megapixel on the rear. It is thought that the handset has a lower resolution than the new iPhone 5 would and it has a 3.5 inch display. The design looks just like the leaked photos of what is said to be the Apple iPhone 5.
Apple has announced that they will be revealing the iPhone 5 on 12th September, so for now we will just have to wait and see what will happen.
