iPhone 5 iOS 6 Untethered Jailbreak Solution Comes With Many Doubts

By  |

We’ve been waiting for an untethered iOS 6 jailbreak for ages now, and lots of scammers are preying on the impatience of iPhone 5 owners and Apple fans by offering fake jailbreaks in return for money.

More iPhone 5 iOS 6 untethered jailbreak solutions pop up

The most recent scammers to offer untethered  iOS 6 jailbreaks are OpenAnyPhone.com and iPhoneJailbreakUnlock.org, which have both promised untethered jailbreaks for iPhones – for money. Both sites looked dodgy when they launched, and have since been proven to be as fake as a nine pound note.

Both sites are linked to each other – OpenAnyPhone hosts a banner for iPhoneJailbreakUnlock. Both sites also ask for $28 for the iOS 6 untethered jailbreak. You can pay either by PayPal or credit card, but either way you’ll spend your money and get nothing in return.

iPhoneJailbreakUnlock does say that it doesn’t have iPhone 5 support, but it claims that other iPhones are suitable. The other site says that their jailbreak is compatible with the iPhone 5. The website says it’ll jailbreak your phone as well as unlock it, and that this process is reversible and comes with lifetime updates. If you’re waiting for the untethered jailbreak, you should ignore websites like these and listen to the Dev teams. A lot of people got stung again last week when Dream JB convinced many that it had the iOS 6 untethered jailbreak. Once it had turned out to be another fake, people learned to only listen to reputable dev teams.
