The folks over at the State Journal report of a new untethered jailbreak solution for iOS 6. Unlike previously reported solutions which have turned out to be hoaxes or downright risky methods that are sure to leave you with a bricked iPhone 5, The SJ states that this particular iPhone iOS 6 untethered jailbreak solution is reversible.

What this means is that in the event you need to send your iPhone 5 back under warranty, you can un-jailbreak the iPhone and leave no traceable signs of having done so in the past.
The news site reports that the jailbreak come via OpenAnyPhone.com, an online service known to have jailbroken iOS 4 and iOS 5 in the past. While we can’t vouch for that as it is the first time we’ve heard of it, the source does. Now this particular untethered iOS 6 jailbreak solution only works for the iPhone 4, 4S and 5. So if this is you then you can give it a go.
As usual, with all paid jailbreak solutions, we’re going to give this a try and get back to you with the findings in case you don’t want splurge on it before getting some feedback. So we’ve taken the $27.99 plunge and will get back to you by the end of the day whether or not our iPhone 5 is jailbroken.
