One of the scammers is JHerthop, he wanted money for his jailbreak and of course some people became a victim to the scam. On Twitter he said that he would give refunds, when he was uncovered, however at the moment there is no proof of him having done so, yet. He did however show remorse. The same cannot be said for the person going by the name of Defiant6 on Twitter.
This person wanted $500 for the jailbreak and even uploaded what he claimed was a screenshot of the jailbreak running of an iPod Touch 5G. However his Photoshop skills leave a lot to be desired and the photo was full of errors. When he was proven to be a scammer, he turned to abusing people on Twitter.
