Apple revealed their iPhone 5 a couple of days ago and it came as no surprise to find out that the handset would be available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions. But is 16GB big enough for you or should you go up to the 32GB or even the 64GB given the evergrowing richness of apps and media quality? Let’s find out.
iPhone 5 16GB, 32GB or 64GB: which one’s right for you?
For those who don’t download and use many apps or store movies, TV shows or large amounts of music, the 16GB iPhone 5 should be ample storage. However, if you are snap happy bear in mind that the iPhone 5 has an 8 megapixel camera that can take video at 1080p. If all you use the iPhone 5 for is to make calls and send text or emails and browse the web then you could save yourself a lot of money with the 16GB version.
If you are going to be using the iPhone 5 as your main media device and you want to watch HD movies and take HD movies, along with store music and play games, then you may be better off paying out a little more and getting the iPhone 5 32GB. This should give you enough storage to make the most of the camera with 1080p video shooting.
On the other hand if you are classed as a power user or you like to keep everything but the kitchen sink on your phone then you could be better off choosing the largest 64GB iPhone 5. This would give you peace of mind that you wouldn’t run out of space and you could store many apps, games, movies and TV shows along with having your own music collection close to hand at all times.
Let’s face it when it comes to iPhone storage bigger is always better. If you were to choose the 64GB I bet that you would find a way to fill it up and then wonder where all those GBs went.
