Just before Apple revealed the iPhone 5, a company revealed the GooPhone i5, which surprisingly was a clone of the unreleased iPhone. Now it seems that just after Apple have launched their iPad Mini, the Chinese creators are launching a GooPad Mini, reports AndroidAuthority.
GooPad Mini: iPad Mini styling with price that could rival 8GB Google Nexus 7
The GooPad Mini would have a price tag of $99 and it looks just like the iPad Mini from Apple. Now $99 is the magic number many Android fans have been waiting for the 8GB Google Nexus 7 to drop too. According to rumors, when the 32GB Nexus 7 launches, Google is suppose to drop their base 8GB model down to this price level.
The GooPad Mini is expected to launch in a couple of days (November) and will come with Jelly Bean and a iLaunch iOS clone theme on top.
All in all the GooPad will be a clone of the iPad Mini; however it won’t feature the same internal components of Apple’s. It is thought that the screen with be 7.9 inches and it will have a resolution of 1024 x 768. The processor will be a dual core 1.4GHz and the tablet will have 1GB of RAM. The camera on the back is 2 megapixels and there will be a camera of 0.2 megapixels on the front, and the device will have support for Wi-Fi.
It looks like the GooPad Mini will compete with the budget tablets of Android like the Google Nexus 7 and Amazon Kindle Fire.
