Analysts predict that the iPad Mini with Retina display will be here in March, iPad 5 in September and an Apple HDTV will appear during November of 2013.
iPad Mini with Retina Display coming in March 2013 (report)
It’s only been a month since Apple released the iPad Mini and yet there are rumours going around of more big things to follow from them. Analyst reports claim that Apple will kick off 2013 with a Retina Display iPad Mini and end the year with a $2000 Apple HDTV.
Analyst for Piper Jeffrey, Gene Munster, said earlier in the year that Apple would reveal a new TV in December of 2012 and this would be released during the first half of next year. However he has not said why he thinks this has changed, however in his notes to investors he mentioned a huge change up in the refresh cycle of Apple products.
He said that in June 2013 at the WWDC Apple will reveal previews of their iOS 7 and OSX, along with a new MacBook Air which will have the Retina display. iOS 7 will be strongly influenced by Jony Ives.
During September we can expect the iPhone 6, which should be a very modest upgrade to the iPhone 5, along with a iPad 5.
November of 2013 will see Apple reveal their TV and this will be available from 42 inches up to 55 inches, and will come with price tags of between $1500 and $2000.
CultofMac however wonders if Apple would release a Retina version of the iPad Mini just 6 months following on from the original version. If they do then the price tag could be in the $379 bracket.
